Punjab Chief Minister Will Be Elected on 22 July

Punjab CM hamza Shahbaz  will be elected on 22 July.

• Pakistan's Supreme Court (SC) has ruled that the Punjab Chief Minister (CM) will be elected on July 22.

Both Parties ,Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz [PML-N] Leader Hamza Shahbaz & Pakistan Muslim League Quaid [PML-Q] Leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi have agreed that the election of Punjab Chief Minister will be held on 22 July 2022. 

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and comprising Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, heard the PTI's plea to challenge the [LHC] decision. 

During the hearing in Court Chief Justice Omar Ata Bandial asked when the results of the by-elections in Punjab will come. On which the lawyer of PML-Q said that the results will be announced by July 22.

Then Chief Justice asked to PML-N Leader Hamza Shahbaz that if agree on the date of election of Punjab Chief Minister on 22 July 2022. To which the PML-N Leader give the positive reply to the Chief Justice. The election will be conducted in Punjab Assembly.

Fawad Chaudhry talks about CM election 2022

PTI Leader Fawad Chaudhry said that Hamza Shahbaz is not a elected Chief Minister [CM] but they will accept him as a acting Chief Minister. The Chief Justice disagreed to the Fawad's opinion and said that use those words that both parties are acceptable.

PTI plea;

In earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf filled an appeal against to the [LHC] Lahore High Court decision to recount the votes of Chief Minister elections.

According the details, PTI claiming the order to conduct the election within 24 hours would damage the court's relief. The PTI petition said that the [SC] should accept the petition against the [LHC] Lahore High Court and reschedule the PA session a after few days. Six PTI MPAs are in [KSA] Saudi Arabia for Hajj, while others have gone abroad for other reasons.
